CrossFit Bolt embraces social media during their end of the 2015 CrossFit Open celebration.

CrossFit Bolt, established in 2011, and located in Coppell, TX is a CrossFit affiliated gym (or what they call a ‘box’) that focuses on functional movements while maintaining the correct form. CrossFit is defined as constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity and CrossFit Bolt is no exception!

Matt McCraney, the owner and head coach of CrossFit Bolt, values his members and strives to make each individual his focus. His members are truly a family of people who support and encourage each other.

CrossFit started as a grass roots company that still to this day receives most of its members through word of mouth. In an industry where word of mouth is your most valuable marketing tool, you must leverage your members to spread awareness of your brand. CrossFit Bolt seized the opportunity by inviting Photo Social Dallas to their annual End of the CrossFit Open celebration.

The CrossFit Open marks the first rounds of competition towards the CrossFit Games and CrossFit Bolt is known for having sent Cassidy Lance to the CrossFit Games in 2013 where she finished 29th and in 2014 where she finished in 8th place and was deemed most improved. If there is any uncertainty to what that means, she was deemed the 8th fittest woman in the world!

CrossFit Bolt asked Photo Social Dallas to brand their photos with not only their well known #GETBOLT hashtag but also a tribute hashtag to Cassidy Lance #WELCOMEBACKCASS as she returned, after having relocated, to finish the last round of the CrossFit Open at CrossFit Bolt.

The pictures from the event showcase many of the CrossFit Bolt members as well as Coach Matt McCraney and CrossFit Games athlete Cassidy Lance. Members of CrossFit Bolt utilized Photo Social Dallas’ social media by uploading their favorite photos to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as emailing and texting photos to themselves. This promoted the grass roots connection of the CrossFit Bolt brand by having members share their brand.

It was a beautiful day for a photo booth!

Photo Social Dallas supports Moncrief Cancer Institute’s Mobile Clinic

Photo Social Dallas had the honor of being a part of the Moncrief Cancer Institute’s Mobile Clinic launch on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 by helping spread awareness through Social Media.

First in Texas Mobile Cancer Survivor Clinic, delivering one-on-one exercise sessions, nutrition counseling, cancer screenings, and high-tech telemedicine to cancer patients and survivors in 9 counties surrounding Fort Worth. The mobile clinic travels twice a month to locations in Tarrant, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Johnson, Navarro, Parker, Somervell and Wise counties. Photo Social Dallas recognizes Moncrief’s focus on the community and was able to help spread awareness of their Mobile Clinic through our Social Media Photo Booth. Guests, survivors, and patients joined together at Moncrief Cancer Institute in Fort Worth and showed their support of the Mobile Clinic launch by taking photos in our Social Media Photo Booth. We don’t know what was more inspirational, the number of people that attended to show their support or the way in which guests finished the, “Moncrief Mobile Will…” and “Mobile Cancer Support Means…” sentences in their photos. Social Media offers a means to spread awareness of great causes and happenings like what Moncrief Cancer Institute has done with their Mobile Clinic. By utilizing a Social Media Photo Booth, the launch of the Mobile Clinic will reach audiences who may have otherwise not been aware of the fantastic efforts Moncrief is making. Word travels fastest on Social Media and how words like survivor and hope could reach those in the 9 supported counties who weren’t able to visit previously is powerful.

Photo Social Dallas is proud to support Moncrief Cancer Institute alongside Communities in Schools of Tarrant Country and Tara Wilson Agency who were also in attendance at the Moncrief Cancer Institute’s Mobile Clinic launch on Wednesday.

Folds of Honor is a great cause that helps provide annual educational scholarships to the military families of those who have been killed or disabled while on active duty. These scholarships help support private education tuition,  tutoring and educational summer camps for children K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and children.
